Stefan Dragic, who records as Stefco, is a musician and producer, a spoken-word poet turned hip-hop artist whose work runs on discipline, freestyle, and narrative-driven storytelling. He is also one half of Psilosapiens, a medicine-music project with Cooper Montgomery.

We talked beats, bars, and breakthroughs: a decade making music under different names, injuring his voice on tour and being forced to drop into his natural low register, and the long grind of posting until one video jumped from 1,000 to 30,000 views off the same track. Then it got philosophical, Daoism, psychedelics, the heart and gut as energy centers, before we freestyled live over his beats. What I respect is that he chases truth in the work, not shock or fame, so the discipline serves the art instead of eating it.
