Becoming Tyzen
Two rivers ran through my life, side by side, for most of it.This is the story of how they met.
If we haven't met: I'm Tyler Drake. Tyzen is the name the path gave me. Tyzen is the fully embodied King, Warrior, Magician and Lover soul essence pouring through. One river was born of the mind: built in the world, in malls and boardrooms and server racks. The other was born of the heārt, and it ran underneath the whole time. Walk down with me.

This river taught me how the world works, and then it taught me what it costs.
Around 1995
Tech Ty
Before anything else, there was the machine on the bedroom floor and a kid who had to know how it worked. I built my first computers at ten. My friends and family called me Tech Ty. That archetype never left; it just kept finding bigger systems to build.
Around 1999
First ventures
By fourteen I was in business. I could feel how the world worked, what people wanted, how money moved, and I was good at it. Success in that paradigm came naturally. What I could not have known then was that mastering the game would one day be exactly what qualified me to question it.
2006 to 2009
The kiosk empire
At twenty-three I was running eight retail locations at once: six brands across five malls, a team drawn from as far as Brazil and Russia, over $1.2 million in rent across the decade. I had turned around a cell phone accessory business and doubled its revenue.
Then 2008 hit, and a franchise deal (4.75 years on paper) was terminated after four months because my location was too profitable and they wanted it for themselves. That one business had been sustaining the others, and the cascade took the empire. Ulcers, hair falling out, the first of three resets.
The lesson that became a mission: I know how to operate business at scale, including multiple locations with expansive teamwork. What I didn't yet know was how to make it sustainably thrive. That became the study.
2007 to 2024
Avanti Body Jewelry & Piercing
One location left standing, and I poured my heārt and soul into it. Avanti grew from a tiny kiosk into a 1,400 square foot store, then into an APP-standard piercing studio: $500k a year, a loyal thriving team, world-class piercers, and a real online store. We were on the path to franchising when COVID closed the doors. We pivoted to e-commerce, and the fifteen-year Portland chapter came to rest.
Then we launched another location in Dallas, and my soul mission got loud: why would you put yourself in an environment where people are buying things in an attempt to find fulfillment? So I brought the medicine into the mall. I supported and coached the people right there: the medicine of the heārt, the medicine of fulfillment, in that dojo. But I didn't have the courage to lean fully into my mission. Until I did. We cut the cords on the old-world extractive business and dedicated this life to catalyzing heārts and minds to connect, grow, and thrive holistically together. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the training grounds these eighteen years provided. I am now unquestionably clear on what I am here on this planet to do: build, weave, and co-create heaven on earth, one soul at a time.
2016 to 2022
Inviting Stays
Hospitality opened alongside it all. Inviting Stays began with a house I owned in 2016 and grew into short-term rentals in Dallas, with mentorship from J. Massey and Sean Rakidzich. Another dojo, the same study: anticipating needs, and how people feel held in a space.
2017 to 2019
The Tony Robbins chapter
I went looking for the edges of what I could become. Six events in two years. Unleash the Power Within: walking on fire, learning who I am, and creating a new blueprint to operate from. Date With Destiny: fleshing out the internal operating system and innerstanding human dynamics at a whole new level. Platinum Partners Relationship Mastery: the deepest truths of relating. Business Mastery 1 and 2: on stage before two thousand people, taking response-ability for my whole team, one of the few in the room who had been in business over a decade. Absolutely profound.

The freefall
Open sky. The scream that left my chest. The body knowing before the mind. The first river ran on logic, and the leap was the end of its jurisdiction.
The crucible
Then the years that remade me. My daughter was born, my marriage ended, and the money followed: $430,000 of leverage unwound in bankruptcy. Underneath those facts sat a harder initiation, four years of being attacked for the very path that was healing me. I am not going to narrate that season here. What I will say is what it forged. It burned away every version of success I had not chosen consciously. It taught me the difference between building from proving and building from being. And it deepened my devotion as a father into the ground everything else stands on. If you have lost your empire, your marriage, or the ground under your name, I am not guessing at what that takes. I have rebuilt from the why up.

The deep dive
Nine years down the deepest spiritual rabbit holes, learning from the wisdom of nature-based peoples: Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Colombia, Egypt. This river asked a different question: who is the one playing the game?
2017
Ayahuasca
They call it the vine of the soul, and that is exactly what I experienced. I experienced my soul, and an unraveling of so many of the programs I had been unconsciously running. What came to the forefront of my awareness: who I am, and what the purpose of this existence really is.
From that new ground zero I have been building and cultivating my inner landscape, and matching my actions and behavior to reflect it: that new earth, that new humanity, that heaven on earth that becomes possible when we shift from forgetting to forgiving, when we live in service to something greater than ourselves, when we experience belonging and community in a way I didn't know existed before. This is the path of devotion I am committed to.
And then the reconciliation began: my heārt was opening, and I had to bring how I was living, operating, and relating into alignment with it. My businesses. My friendships. My romantic relationships. The beginning of building the Tyzen operating system from first principles.

Arkadia
The Festival of a More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible
This was a turning point. Deep in the divorce process and feeling stuck in life, I entered the room and realized everyone around me could be my best friend. Not a question of if, a question of to what degree we have dropped in. A whole field of people living from the heārt. Something in me relaxed, and never fully closed again. This was the beginning of the soul family that has catalyzed my journeys around the world, and of discovering who I am and how I serve on a whole new level.
2022
Burning Man
The social experiment of living life in a whole new way. No money. No branding. Come with more than you need for yourself, and bring something special to offer the souls on the playa. 70,000 souls creating a temporary city in the desert: radical self-expression, radical gifting, and a living mirror for what a culture becomes when it chooses wonder over fear. It radically shaped what I believe is possible in community and in ways of living (and let me tell you, the dust storms are real). The story arc of Burning Man is unlike anything else on this planet. Soul blessed to have experienced it, and to carry its principles forward in my blueprint: leave everyone and everything better than we found them.

The Joe Dispenza immersion
A seven-day immersion: thirty-five hours of meditation in a week. Spontaneous healings. People who couldn't walk beginning to move. Cancers disappearing from the body. Bridging science and spirit, the physical world (3D) and the quantum (5D). Proof that the body can be changed from the inside out.

Fit For Service
Aubrey Marcus has been putting out a beacon for aligned souls for over a decade, and his courage to speak openly about his entheogenic experiences was a huge catalyst for me. This was my opportunity to dive into the community I had tasted at Arkadia and go deep into healing, connection, relationship, and soul family. On arrival, the same recognition: every person here could be my best friend. Many of my best friends today are the result of this incredible community. Thank you Aubrey, Vylana, Erick, Caitlyn, and Kyle for banding together with all the epic and wise souls to bring this transformational platform to life.

Now we enter expansion. I had my bearings on what a new earth feels like; here was another flavor of heaven on earth. 7,000 of the highest-vibe individuals from all over the world coming together to heal, feel, dance, play, and co-create. The level of healing and connection that takes place in these environments is underrated. Thank you, Envision family.

The Yawanawá
A ceremony opened a door, and six weeks after Envision I went through it: eight hours by boat up the river into the Sacred Village, learning from and with Chief Nixiwaka and Putani. Feeling what real tribe is like. Western beliefs dissolving in the river water, and the seed of the wisdom of nature-based people taking root.

I watched the sun rise into my eyes while meditating in the paws of the Sphinx. Private access inside the Great Pyramid, feeling into the absolute mystery of structures that defy our current physics and technology. The Seed of Life at the Osirion. The clarity within. A four-day cruise on the Nile and everything in between. What a blessing, what a journey.

The Ancient Future Collective
The living art project and community of Donnie, aka Savej. Bridging far more than music production: the ancient wisdom of nature-based people and the technology of the future, woven together to catalyze artists to share their gifts and effect positive change in this world. Swamp ceremonies
Co-facilitating with Jason, bringing the medicine of Louisiana culture: the wild, alive jungle of North America. The floating maloca. The tandem boat rides. I returned to the land of Kemet with Carl Hayden Smith and the Museum of Consciousness expedition: ten sacred sites, eight private Ministry of Antiquities permissions, doors that almost never open. Walking the temples as researcher and mystic at once. This is the journey I now help curate: bringing aligned souls to experience the magic, the mystery, and the deep dive with the soul family.

A Soul Mission Activation Expedition
Into the heārt of the Chavín Temple, connecting with Titawanka: an ancient temple that drew people from hundreds of miles to connect with the spirit of the lands, to trade, and to live in a harmonious way. Several thousand gathered during key celestial times to connect with the medicine of huachuma and the clarity of that spirit. The story is told of 800 years with no hierarchy, no violence, and no weapons, and the Chavín temple stands as a reminder and an activator of those frequencies. Thank you to our Quechua elders and their family for your love, guidance, and wisdom. This is where I realized what I am: a chakaruna, a bridge person. Thank you Jason, Devine, and Joseph for your camaraderie and co-creation as we led these great adventures.

One was born of the mind: the old world, built on self-interest. One was born of the heārt: the new world. Only mind, and I'm self-centered and unfulfilled. Only heārt, and I'm depleted. Together, in coherence, we operate from a state of perfect presence and perfect balance, and we sustainably thrive. That is New Earth: the mind and the heārt in coherence. That is the new humanity, and it describes exactly how we build and co-create.
