Heart Energy in Presence
with Joda →
Elder Jon Hodge tries to put words to something he mostly knows in his body — the heart opening as a literal heat across the chest, and what actually changes when you raise your frequency. A slow, grounded talk on presence, watching your own thoughts, and channeling source energy through a clean pipe.
Chapters
I don't heal anybody. What I'm saying is I channeled the energy. We're being conduits for source energy — and the cleaner your pipe is, the more source energy you can move through you.
In the very first Consciousness Over Coffee, Tyler (Tyzen) Drake sits across from elder Jon Hodge to ask a simple question that turns out to be hard to answer: when you feel energy, is that a thought or a felt sense? Jon answers from his body — he feels it in his heart first, as expansion, as warmth, sometimes as a chest “on fire.” From there the two of them slow-build the conversation’s central image together: consciousness as an analog radio dial, where raising your frequency simply lets more information and more of the signal come through.
It’s a grounded talk about presence, watching your own thoughts, and the expand-and-integrate rhythm of growth — push the boundary, get crushed for a day, integrate, go back at it. The spine of the episode is Jon’s correction of his own language at the end: he doesn’t heal anyone; he keeps the pipe clean and channels source energy through it. A quiet one to sit with, coffee in hand.
Moments
-
“For me, it’s a sensing and a feeling. I feel it in my heart first. My heart expands.” — Jon Hodge
-
“When I’m off alignment I’m in my mind and I’ve got chit chat and the barking dogs are going off — insecure voice here, distraction here, what did I not do or lack.” — Tyler (Tyzen) Drake
-
“I get myself into that no mind activity and I just sit and watch in that presence — and a thought comes in, and I’m watching that thought: where’d that thought come from?” — Jon Hodge
-
“It was like my chest was on fire. It’s like somebody took icy hot and smeared it across my chest. I physically feel it.” — Jon Hodge
-
“We’re an analog radio. We’ve got to adjust the frequency up. I’m always pushing that boundary.” — Jon Hodge
-
“You have to expand yourself. You expand and integrate — I’d push my boundary as far as I could, then I’d be crushed for a day or so, then I’d integrate and go back at it again.” — Jon Hodge
