A young Tyzen sits down with his friend Grayson — a painter with a notebook full of questions — and turns one open prompt, "describe your vision," into a full e-commerce build, live, in real time. What starts as which platform and which fulfillment app becomes the EntreProgression map (employment → self-employment → team → entrepreneurship), the Four Freedoms, recurring revenue, and the heart of why capitalism, in its purest form, is just people sharing value. By the end they've stood up a Shopify store, named a domain, and stumbled into the mycelium metaphor that renames the whole series.

This is early Tyzen — Roots To The Fruits, the origin series — sitting across from his friend Grayson, a painter who showed up with a pad of notes and a single real question: how do I actually start this? Instead of answering with a checklist, Tyler opens with the move he opens everything with — “describe your vision” — and stretches it out a thousand days, until the store stops being a logistics problem and becomes a clear picture: prints people can grab in a click, originals for the diehards, commissions held in one tight, streamlined frame instead of pulled out of thin air. Only once the vision is grounded do they touch the how: Shopify, Printful, automated on-demand fulfillment, a free theme, a domain. The tooling is almost an afterthought. The real teaching is sequence — outcome first, then leverage, then execution.
From there it widens into the whole EntreProgression map — employment to self-employment to team to true entrepreneurship — Dan Sullivan’s Four Freedoms, the ABC model that narrows a person down to the one-to-three things that actually light them up, and the quiet thesis underneath all of it: the economic engine isn’t numbers, it’s the heārt and soul of people connecting and adding value. Give enough of it, Tyler says, and one percent raising their hand is plenty.
